Gifting My Books for the 2018 Holidays

Gifting My Books for the 2018 Holidays

Thanksgiving is tomorrow. Once again, the holiday season is upon us, and it’s time to answer questions about how you can acquire my books. Much of this remains the same as last year, but there are a few small differences. As always I break it down into signed paperbacks, regular paperbacks, and gifting ebooks.

Want Signed or Personalized Books?

🖋 Want Signed/Personalized Books?

Order from my store where I sell and ship signed and personalized books. The 2018 deadline to order is December 10th, which is a Monday. Any orders beyond December 10th probably won’t get to you in time. Remember, this is for US residents only. Shipping internationally is a bit different, and I cannot guarantee Christmas arrival.

I sign everything from my shop, but if you want your books personalized, make sure to leave me a note in the “Notes or Instructions” field during checkout. That’s it! Just click the button below, and start shopping.

Thanksgiving is now behind us here in the States, which means we’re in full-on shopping mode. Every year I have people reach out to me asking how they can get my book for their friends and family. There are loads of ways, and hopefully, this post will serve as a helpful aggregate of all the gifting options.

Sadly, Kobo and GoogleBooks do not have a gifting option. You’ll have to use a gift card and give your Kobo or GoogleBooks the streets of Lovat the old fashioned way. (Check out how Jen Chan gifted The Stars Were Right to a friend.)

Gift The Bell Forging Cycle this Christmas!

Gifting The Bell Forging Cycle this Christmas

Christmas is almost upon us. (Less than 22 days now.) If you are planning to gift any of my books from The Bell Forging Cycle there are a few things you need to know to get the books in time for unwrapping:

  • If you want signed copies before Christmas and you live in the US. You’ll need to order from my store no later than December 11th. As of today, I still have plenty of copies that are ready for your friends or family. Shipping takes about a week. You can always order afterwards, but I can’t promise they’ll arrive before the 25th.
  • My cutoff for International orders is also December 11th as well. That includes Canada and Mexico. As with US orders, you are welcome to order afterwards, but I can’t promise they’ll arrive before the 25th.
  • Finally, if your gifty is an ebook reader like me. You don’t have to worry about any shipping at all. Most ebook sites allow you to send books instantly! Handy.

I hope that clarifies things for those who have been asking. Again, a big thank you to those who want to help spread Waldo’s story in the world of the Territories this holiday season. It means a lot, and I appreciate it. Knowing there are people out there who want to share my stories make writing them worthwhile. (Also, please go leave an honest review.)
