Pāhihi Gulch

The Piilani Highway occasionally crosses vast ravines like this, a quiet reminder of nature’s power. The road here has washed out in the past as powerful storms drive torrents of rain down through the gully. Many are bridged, but a few like Pāhihi give you a ground-level view.
